A big day out  Date: 26/01/2004 And a happy Australia day to you all 
Went to the big day out on Friday and had a great time. Saw the Casanovas, Friendly, the Black Eyed Peas, Something for Kate, the Dandy Warhols, Muse, Aphex Twin, Felix da Housecat and Basement Jaxx. I have even finished processing all the images from the big day out and will have them up later (hopefully - there is over 40Mb with the movies I took ). I saw some really cool things, like one of the singers from the Black Eyed Peas leaping from the stage into the crowd (and making the two metre gap!). The photos and videos of Muse aren't all perfect - you try taking photos/videos in a mosh  The mosh pit was the second worst I have been in (Nine Inch Nails one still wins) but it was more annoying as we kept getting sprayed with water by security (I was using Liz's camera for Muse so I was worried it would get soaked!)
We (Sara, Kath and myself) spent over 12 hours there! I thought this would kill me the next day but it wasn't that bad ... the day after that it really hit home! My knees killed me all day (I'm getting old )
I have spent most of today making small updates to the site (like the new main page as you come in and how the images are displayed as thumbnails now instead of links)
Anyway I hope to have everything set up soon (39% of the upload done! Only two hours to go )
