My thumb hurtsDate: 14/03/2004 Its another sporting weekend  I'm watching the NRL (on TV and the internet), NBA (on the internet), Cricket (on the internet) and NBL (on the internet).
Things to have come out from this: Watch out for the Bulldogs even with all the rape allegations! Yay, Victoria will win the Pura Cup 
Saturday week ago, I played a practice game with the Balmain Tigers and managed to jar my finger in the first 15 minutes (I could have possibly chipped the bone - x-ray tomorrow will conform this) I managed to take a mark and get a few kicks and handballs.
The next day was the Mardi Gras and Liz and I went over to Marika's place. But as it was terrible weather, we decided to just play dress-ups there instead of going down and get wet watching the parade (photos to come once I can get a working version of Photoshop! The version I was using stopped working  )
The rest of the week was basically a blur with work
I decided the finger would be good enough to play basketball with yesterday ... oh boy was I wrong! I couldn't shoot with my right hand so I did the obvious thing, I started shooting with my left After about 40 minutes of shotting around I could hit about 30% of free throws with my left and about 10% of three-pointers. Played for a bit but I basically I could only rebound and lay-up (and hit a left-handed three pointer  )
Anyway going to relax in front of the TV
