Happy birthday, merry christmas and happy new year.Date: 03/01/2006 Another year done and another year older.
I have been on my annual journey of discovery, this time expanding the scope from just Melbourne, to Melbourne and Brisbane.
The trip started with Jordan's birthday. We had dinner at Chocolate Buddah, a supposedly Japanese restaurant that can't do gyudon properly >< (not that I'm a gyudon snob or anything, but I am ). We then went to the Kitten Club. It was a great night with a lot of fun, great music and some really strange drinks on offer (the absithe and apple schnapps is great as long as you don't mix it!)
Next was my birthday (yay! I made it to 29 ), back to the favourite eating place of Hofbrauhaus. Damn I love their giant wiener schnitzel
From there it was a trip up to Brisbane for Christmas. I stayed at my brother's place Christmas went well except for Paul and Naomi's present not being able to be picked it and the store not putting my mum's cd player in the box (that annoyed me!). I even got to be pirate steve Had fun playing in the pool (after several attempts to get the tarp up and staying in place) but damn it was hot up there. At least it was good for my hayfever.
Stayed in Brisbane for a few days before going back to Sydney to prepare for the party of the century (hey I can hype my own party ).
For new years eve I threw a party at my place with Steve Clark and Heath coming up as our special guests Had the place lit up like a christmas tree plus some, had a pool up there and a smoke machine too The fireworks were great especially as they had two lots at 9pm and midnight. Much alcohol was had and I ended up with 4 UPI's from the night and I ended up cleaning up at 7am the next morning as everyone else had crashed.
Photos from this whole time can be found here
I have been spending the last two days watching House, MD. Damn I love this series
Anyway hope you all have a good new year
Later,
Steve
