It has been a fun week (that is very sarcastic btw!) I'm wreaked, but enjoying a quiet weekend

I have updated the images section (finally ). There are new images in Blue Mountains M/B and More Random Stuff, and 5 new categories (Liz's Birthday, March 03 Melbourne Trip, Sydney Show 03, Sydney Vs Melbourne 03 and Bulldog Vs Roosters). I have also changed the way the page works if you use Internet Explorer under Windows (if you don't, its the same as normal)

I managed to be the biggest jammy git this week by managing to ride to work on Tuesday without getting wet (which about 15 minutes after getting to work a downpour resulting in images like this). I then rode to the gym and finally home without getting rained on all day!! Maybe if I had of riden around all day the rain wouldn't have fallen

I also went for a ride last weekend up in the Blue Mountains (I spend a fair bit of time up there don't I?). It was an evil ride for the fact that there were some really steep hills that I was out of form for (I only got my back wheel repaired a few days before so I haven't been riding). But I now realise it was from trying to go up the hills in too high a gear. But my bike was the most well behaved, I didn't lose a chain or have a puncture even on some of the most difficult decents I have ever seen - large drops/really rocky/water runoffs. Hopefully I can do it again sometime soon

I have also seen Matrix Reloaded, all I have to say is see it and see it now!!!!!! It is really good except for the over reliance on bullet-time (yes its cool, but I don't need to see everything in it!)

I have also been playing a bit of Counter Strike this week - its a lot of fun!! I can see a fair bit of time being spent playing that

Because I haven't been updating much I thought I would indulge you with a little view into my mind by showing you the ideas that have been floating around:

If I was ever a multi-millionaire, the first thing I would do is start a ferry service that did the same route as the existing fery service between Circular Quay and Darling Harbour, except I would turn up at the time specified on Sydney Ferries timetables. I would make a killing as they are never on time (even at 9am they are usually 5-10 mins late!) To make the deal even sweeter, I would honour all existing tickets for a two week period (until they realised how good it is to actually have a punctual transport service!). I would also have a second ferry so that if one is starting to run late then I can call the second one into service to get back on time and allow to make offers like - if we are more than 3 minutes late then you can ride for free!

Another thought that has been running through my head is that when we talk of "relationships" (of a personal nature) that we are really just using it as a euphemism for sex! For some reason we are lead to believe it is about "love" and sex shouldn't be a consideration (well at least in Australia it is that way, I think Europe might be a bit more relaxed in its thinking), when I feel it really should be - and we really need to stop deluding ourselves about this!. When we go on a date, its a way of saying I would like sleep with you at some stage. The next phase once both people have decided that they could live with becoming the expert at taking off the others clothes (sorry just love the idea of that ), is that the little dance where we are told that you can't have sex to quickly as they will think you are easy but you can't wait too long lest they lose interest (more mind games really! It should be just until you feel comfortable with the person) Finally the relationship ends when one and/or both are sick of sleeping with the other. There will always be exceptions to this rule but talking to several friends this week, they agree that there is a lot of merit to this theory.

And the last thought that has been drifting around has been that with all this fuss made about people ripping off the copyright of songs over the internet, but what happens if I have a legal copy and the song is re-made? As I have a licence for that song, am I now allowed to download the re-make without any legal issues? When you look at the details for the re-makes they always list the original details. I know the ARIA/RIAA will say no (only to protect profits of course!) but I would laugh if it was the case
