The shakeup!Date: 18/08/2003 Some week you decide to take slow and safe, others you decide to be reckless and live life on the edge.
This week Liz and I have decided to move in together - something I just thought about this week. Should be a lot of fun, we are looking for a nice place around Glebe (apparently there is a bit of crime around the area but I'm sure my paranoia will fix any gaps ) It is nice and close to the city and work.
And as normal I go from one extreme to another - I have been to the gym three times in the last week! And I'm feeling a lot more comfortable about the prospect of the 24 hour race (especially since there is now 6 in the team )
Went and saw one of the auctions for The Block (Phil and Amity's place) and had to endure, errr I mean listen to Amity sing
I also realised the reason work makes me feel so tired - I'm doing three peoples worth of job (or at least trying unsuccessfully to!) I'm expected to be a full time programmer, a full time manager, a part time fire-fighter (that is, fix any problems clients have) and part time system administrator (damn I run a tight LAN! No MSBlast for me )
Cool new music that I have found and must get! Muse - Stockholm syndrome (how many styles can they fit into one song? Upping the ante from New Born!) and anything by Evanescence! Currently listening to 1200 Techniques - Eye of the storm, PlanetFunk - Chase the sun and Who said, and Powderfinger - (Baby I've got you) on my mind (I love the video for this song - using the instruments as the focus instead of the people is genius!)
Hmm might get around to doing some of the many photos sitting on my hard-drive that I need to fix for the web.
Later,
Steve
PS Sorry Kath, Not going to be at McMahons Point for New Years
