I'm procrastinatingDate: 25/10/2005 I have my e-business exam tomorrow, so I'm updating now! I only need about 25% in the exam to pass (thanks to 63% and 66% for the assignments and 80% for participation)
I had been meaning to do it sooner but spider solitare and freecell distracted me on the way (but I'm getting really good at them, maybe I should add that to the resume )
I have played basketball three times since the last update without a win and scoring two, two and six points. Mind you three of the six points tonight was the nicest three-pointer I have done - goes in hitting the back of the ring dropping straight down. For a second there I thought I had missed the shot. I was also three of four from the free throw line tonight.
I have also played two days of cricket. Both of them have been fielding days and I have managed to drop one catch each week (oh I'm racking up the fines!), admittedly the first week wasn't really a chance, I just reacted to a shot and got my fingers to it but I should have taken the one last week At least I'm getting commended on my fielding as I'm usually moving around to back up, man the stumps or chase down any shot. Even having a team mate exclaim "shit you are fast" when I beat him to a ball
I also managed to get a trophy for playing footy this year - the coach's award for 4th grade
(oh I have had a haircut since then so I'm not anywhere near as hippie-ish )
Oh I have managed to listen to the song Gold Digger by Kayne West (featuring Jamie Foxx) 57 times today, putting it into the top position in my iTunes folder
I have come up with a way to test if a person is an idiot or not, there is three ways to test a person:
#1 on a bus - if the person sits in a aisle seat when there is nobody next to them (and they aren't getting off a stop or two later). It isn't that much harder to shuffle the extra foot and a half and make it easier for people to sit next to you. I need to start sitting next to these people just to annoy them
#2 on the escalator - how hard is it to stay to the left when you are travelling on them and let people pass you on the right. Yes, it doesn't take long but there is no reason to be a prick in the mean time.
#3 on the footpath - is it that hard to give people room to pass you! I'm going to take up running through the city trying to doze as many people that won't give others room to pass as I can (hmm 110kgs at speed, this should be fun )
And one last gripe for today - Banks not giving out piggy banks anymore due to political correctness. I heard about this on the way to work (unfortuately I had to listen to John Laws so I could feel my IQ dropping) and laughed that being PC had reached this level. People need to lighten up and laugh again, this world would be a much better place for it!
Anyways off to get my beauty sleep (see you in 2007 )
Later,
Steve
PS 58 times now!
