I miss the internetDate: 15/10/2004 You give people a rap and then they stuff you up! Things were going well until the last 24 hours. The following people have combined to really piss me off today:
Swift ADSL - I rang them up about two weeks ago to organise my new adsl connection but it looks like someone forgot to actually organise the connection. I set up my computer and went to connect to them but couldn't get on  . So I rang them and found out they didn't have me on their system and it would take over a week before I can get connected  .
Telstra - Before ringing Swift the first time, I rang Telstra to find out my new number and cancel the old service. Well today I got a bill from Telstra for the old address acting like the service isn't ending
Myer Carpet Cleaning - I organised to have the carpets cleaned in the old place for today and yesterday I get a call saying the guy will arrive between 8:30 and 11! Well the fact that there is a 2.5 hour window to wait for the guy in wasn't annoying enough, the fact that he turned up 30 minutes later than that didn't help my attitude at all .
At least the old place is now sparkling - I have spent over 7 hours cleaning the bastard in the last 24 hours!!
I'm also suffering from lack of sleep as it has been way to freaking hot up here (we hit 38 on Wednesday - a new October record for Sydney).
