T-Minus 10 hoursDate: 19/12/2004 Well I'm nearly 28! Only a few hours to go
It has been an eventful week.
I have played basketball three times - my free throws are getting quiet accurate, I'm hitting about 75% (a lot better than Shaquile O'Neal going 3/16 in the last two games!) but the three pointers are still lacking a bit . I ended up spending an hour playing 3 on 3 and 4 on 4. I started out not doing much but I got into it and ended up playing on a guy who was about 6'7" (2 metres tall - I came up to his shoulders). He had the height but I had the weight so it was a good little battle - we came out about even. I did feel it for the next few hours though!
I'm planning on doing some scuba diving with Pro Dive in Manly so I went to get a medical to make sure everything was kosher. Well the doctor has looked at the form I filled in and gone "you can't dive". Apparently I have asthma and with my hayfever (which I do have) will cause my head to asplode! At least I then got to go and have an allergy test done to find out what I'm allergic too (turns out it is pollen and dustmites - I was hoping for dogs too but no luck there )
I went back the next day and saw a different doctor (who actually dives) and he was much more understanding and saw no problems with me diving I also found out I have a lung capacity on 4.67 litres and I can expel 90.4% in less than a second. (more useless facts about me )
Last night I went to the Metro Theatre and saw KMFDM play. It was a great night and the KMFDM photos are up (thanks to Marika for letting me use her camera )
I ended up getting home at 4 am and I actually haven't been to sleep yet (nearly been awake for 27 hours straight - all spelling mistakes can be blamed on that )
Anyway, I'm off to watch the cricket
Later,
Steve
