Can I request 2 more hours per day?Date: 03/04/2006 Oh dear god! My life is running in overdrive at the moment.
Sport is taking up a good portion of my life as normal.
Cricket season has just ended and the BOBs won the competition (I was 13, 14 or 15th man). We got 239 runs in our innings and when they were 2 for 132 with just over an hour to go (they only required a draw to win the grandfinal), I thought we were in a bit of trouble. 8 wickets in less than an hour later and we were the winners
But cricket being over means it is now footy season. I got to be water boy for the games on the weekend (having only trained a few times this year I really wasn't feeling like playing).
Add to that I have been playing squash, tennis, going indoor climbing and doing some cycling.
The good thing about all the sport is that I have managed to lose 10kgs since Christmas (well sport and only having about 5 days when I have had Coke this year)
I finished my first assignment for this semester of Uni last week and I have already assignment 2 (don't worry, it isn't early ).
Adding to that, I am now in charge of two websites (this and balmainfootballclub.com) plus another site that will be put together soon.
Being webmaster has it advantages though, you get to find out how most people are coming to your site - it turns out it is the term "cocksucker" that goes to this photo (don't worry, it is safe for work - named for that delightful shot I love so very, very much ) "Gir gif" and "trent reznor" were a long way behind in second and third.
Some cool music I have been listening to:
The Kleptones - 24 hours. A really good mash-up album.
Placebo - Meds I really like the song Med but the rest of the album is also really good.
DJ BC - The beastles Another great mash-up album but this one has the Beastie Boys singing with the Beatles providing the music. I think it was better executed than Danger Mouse's Grey Album (Beatle's White Album music with Jay-Z's Black Album).
Movies I watched recently:
Aeon Flux - I like it. Mind you that might have something to Charlize Theron going around with that skin tight outfit *grrrr*. Just don't go in expecting the most well written of plots (standard Hollywood fare these days)
V for Vendetta - I watched this after Aeon Flux so I had my fill of totalitarianism for a while! A much tighter plot and the acting by Hugo Weaving was execellent.
Anyway, I'm off to develop some more of the balmain site.
Later,
Steve
P.S. I will get the photos sorted out eventually, I just can't enable directory browsing so I need to get the next version working (one of these years maybe )
