I want a coke!Date: 30/07/2006 Mood: Tired again Listening to: Nelly Furtado I have now been coke free for 8 days *waits for applause* I'm now hoping Eric doesn't decide to get another 2 18 can packs of coke to throw me off the wagon again, or I go insane and empty a 7-11 fridge.
I have been galavanting the country playing with my camera, oh how I love that camera (not physically, that would mess up the lense you perv!). I love the fact that I can take great night time photos . Mind you I only found out about the ISO setting on Thursday which would have been a big help the last few weeks (at Ben Elton and Marika's track cycling).
Uni has started again, I'm doing fundamentals of corporate finance this semester (which seems rather scary after the class we had this week - I thought it would be more like accounting, but it looks like it deals with shares and bonds.) I passed last semester, well I more than passed it really. I got a 72 for the class (which means I managed to fluke 75% in the exam! It must have been graded on a curve! ) I'm now averaging over a credit for the course
Sports wise:
Last weekends footy was cancelled due to the rain (have to love that!) but we played today We won by one point! It was against the team that was second on the ladder (we are about seventh). I played the second half of the game and did some good things for a change! I got a lot of hard ball gets and actually started to enjoy playing footy again
I have been doing a little bit of cycling - I rode to work for the first time in ages on Friday
Farktography wise:
I got 17 votes (about 15th) for Matthew Bellamy, 13 votes for Trent Reznor and 6 votes for The Living End in the band photos contest. I ended up serving 700Mb of data for this competition.
In last weeks farktography contest on cityscapes. I got 26 votes (about 19th) for The Anzac Bridge and 5 votes for the city. I served one gigabyte of data this week.
Next week competition is on graffiti, now I just have to choose between John Howard, George Bush and Graffiti around Glebe.
Anyway, that is enough from me for the moment.
Later,
Steve
